Sydney was the first settlement in Australia and is a very large, cosmopolitan city sited around a magnificent bay. It has numerous attractions, the primary ones being, the famous iconic Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which can be climbed. There are many beautifully preserved historic buildings and precincts to tour and a trip across the bay on a Manly Ferry to Taronga Park Zoo gives a fantastic view of the city.
